3. Application Review and Approval

All membership applications are subject to internal review, verification, and approval by AIC.

AIC reserves the absolute right to approve, defer, or reject any application at its sole discretion and is not obligated to provide reasons for such decisions.

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

4. Membership Activation and Fees

Membership becomes active only after:

  • Successful approval of the application, and
  • Full payment of the applicable membership fee and taxes.

All membership fees are non-transferable.

5. Non-Refund Policy

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by AIC, all membership fees paid are non-refundable, including in cases of non-usage, early termination, rejection after preliminary review, or voluntary withdrawal by the applicant.

6. Member Obligations and Code of Conduct

Members shall:

  • Maintain professional and ethical conduct at all times,
  • Refrain from any activity that may harm the reputation, credibility, or interests of AIC or its members,
  • Use the platform strictly for professional networking and legitimate purposes, and
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Harassment, misrepresentation, misleading claims, or misuse of the platform is strictly prohibited.

7. Verification and Accuracy of Information

AIC may conduct document checks, background reviews, or third-party verification as part of its internal processes.

Members are solely responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the information and documents submitted.

AIC shall not be liable for any incorrect, forged, misleading, or incomplete information provided by any applicant or member.

8. Use of Website and Services

Members and users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data,
  • Upload harmful software, malware, or content,
  • Use the website for unlawful, defamatory, or abusive purposes, or
  • Exploit the platform for unsolicited commercial or promotional activities without prior written consent from AIC.

9. Recognition, Listings and Member Directory

Inclusion in AIC recognitions, directories, listings, or promotional materials is subject to AIC’s internal criteria and policies.

AIC reserves the right to edit, update, display, or remove any member profile or listing at any time.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All content available on the website, including but not limited to text, logos, designs, certificates, formats, graphics, and digital material, is the exclusive intellectual property of Asia International Club or its licensors.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used without prior written permission from AIC.

11. Termination and Suspension of Membership

AIC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate a membership without notice if:

  • A member violates these Terms,
  • Any submitted information is found to be false or misleading, or
  • The member’s conduct is deemed harmful to the objectives, reputation, or operations of AIC.

Termination shall not entitle the member to any refund.

12. Limitation of Liability

AIC provides its services on a best-effort basis and does not guarantee any business, professional, financial, or personal outcomes arising from membership.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

  • use of the website,
  • participation in events or networking activities, or
  • interactions between members.

13. Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIC, its management, partners, and representatives from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • breach of these Terms,
  • misuse of the website or services, or
  • violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data collected by AIC shall be handled in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

By using the website and applying for membership, you consent to the collection, processing, storage, and use of your information for operational and communication purposes.

15. Amendments to Terms
